The best tapas in Barcelona to the sound of flamenco
Imagine sampling typical Andalusian cuisine in one of the most cosmopolitan atmospheres of the Catalan capital.
This now a reality at Taberna Tío Carlos, a restaurant on Barcelona’s Las Ramblas combining traditional Andalusian culinary tradition with live flamenco shows. Our new restaurant concept at the hotel chic&basic Ramblas is inspired by Andalusian cuisine to create delicious appetizers such as truffled cannelloni and prawn omelette, and it’s open seven days a week.
Headed by chef Oscar Manresa, every Friday and Saturday night (check times) this tapas restaurant hosts performances by singer Pedro “Peret” Reyes, one of the most well known artists of Catalan rumba in the city. In addition to the best flamenco, this restaurant close to Las Ramblas, features a typically Andalusian decor and a tablao.
Tradition meets modernity at la Taberna Tío Carlos, where Spanish folklore naturally blends with true local identity.
Come to enjoy the tastes of the South at our new tapas restaurant, because Catalan rumba and Andalusian cuisine have a place of their own in our city: Taberna Tío Carlos awaits you!
